Description
The installation of this thermostat requires the use of either GM housing; 12657137 or 12671393. The stock thermostat must be removed and the Mishimoto thermostat installed in its place.
If the pin has moved out from the internal wax, the thermostat should be installed and run through one or two hot/cold cycles to ensure the thermostat has properly set.
2016+ 160F thermostat is designed for racing applications only.
- Lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, maintaining lower temperatures (Mishimoto thermostat activates at 160°F vs. stock 212°F)

We will be happy to quote you charges for other shipping methods. All Items shipped on Friday Next Day Air will be delivered on the following Monday. If you would like Saturday delivery for items shipped on Friday only, please contact us for shipping arrangements. If an item is custom order or on back order, it will ship with the selected shipping service as soon as it is ready. To check if an item is in stock and ready to ship, please call our parts department.
